Guy Cisternino - 1 Day Out From Olympia 2020
Guy Cisternino is back on the Mr. Olympia stage.
Guy admittedly has had a string of "bad luck" with the burns, then double shoulder surgery and then prequalified in 2019.
I proved time and time again that I will come back from anything and still stand on that stage. I have nothing left to lose and everything to gain.
If you all have been following along, Guy recently teamed up with John Meadows when it comes to how he trains.
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you always got.
Guy has always had a super intense approach to training and has found a comfort zone in method to lifting that wasn't yielding the best results at times. He has started implementing certain techniques via his programming from John Meadows that 1. is a lot more efficient at stimulating the muscle without training until the wheels fall off and 2. conserving energy to focus on all-out top sets allowing Guy to use heavier weights instead of wasting energy on build up or what are essentially warm up sets.
I have realized my career is not gonna be over nearly as soon and if we have an offseason under the tutelage of John Meadows 2021 is going to be badass!
Stay tuned for more from Guy during the Iron World Tour and olympia weekend.
